Heir to a tradition dating back to antiquity, the Pottery Museum invites you to discover, understand and appreciate art from Earth.
The Museum In a building built around the remains of a kiln of the nineteenth century, the museum invites indeed young and old to discover the history of pottery Sadirac small village of Entre-Deux-Mers, which takes a exceptionally large in the eighteenth century where there are 150 active potters.
The house pottery, founded in 1988, around the remains of an oven nineteenth century, this cultural heritage values. It houses a municipal museum and workshops for children and adults led by AGAP. Sadirac experiencing a revival of its activities through the establishment of new potters in the town.
The museum displays 200 vases and pottery from excavations undertaken by a team of scientists under the auspices of CNRS. These beautiful pieces archaeological witness to the daily lives of Sadirac since the thirteenth century.
An educational tour has been specially designed for groups of children. Folk Art sadiracais will have no secrets for young audiences after a tour of the museum, discover the art of pottery and participation in fun practical work. The museum also offers many ceramic exhibitions throughout the year. These exhibitions gave birth to a new background composed of different contemporary sculptures acquired by the museum.

Cultivated for more than 30 years Sadirac, fruits and vegetables are once revived and are now days very popular with shops and restaurants Bio French and foreign. The reputation of this farm park will inspire you to give it a visit.
You will discover in a rural setting, an orchard and a garden conservatory with many varieties of vegetables and plants, constituting the basis for centuries of our diet: artichokes, Jerusalem artichokes, squash, Orach, patidou, wild nettles, love cage hips, etc ...
A maze where you can play greedy family, will explain the history of food, with nearly 60 paintings and illustrations depicting the major steps in our eating habits.

Open from 1 April to 31 October: Monday to Saturday 14 am to 18 pm. Open from 15 July to 25 August: 10 am to 18 pm, without interruption, with catering Bio on site: less than 10 € per person ! (Note: the museum is closed on Sundays and public holidays).
